Symposium on Membrane protein crystallization, 14-15 November 2011
IBS and Partnership for Structural Biology, Grenoble.

The first day (14th of November) is devoted to presentations on crystallization and recent structures, the second day (15th) to practicals on crystallization using in lipidic phases using the robot. The first day will be open to all participants. The second will be restricted to a limited number of participants selected on the basis of their project and the availability of purified proteins. Between the 14th and the 15th, it will be possible to screen several crystallization conditions for a few number of proteins brought by participants.

For the 14th please contact Linda Ponnet (
linda.ponnet@ibs.fr) before November 7th with the following information:
name, first name, date and place of birth (this is mandatory to enter the EPN campus)
    there a no registration fees

    PRACTICALS
In addition if you are interested to participate to the practicals, please send also the following information to Linda (
linda.ponnet@ibs.fr): a few lines describing the protein (size, number of predicted helices,..), the quantity of purified protein available, the detergent in which the protein is purified, an estimation of the detergent and protein concentrations of the sample.
